is a porous rolling marble.

You’re terrified that it will splinter 

when it circles out of balance,

crashing your walls. But it will not.

You’ll let the water through, but you won’t melt. 

And you will sit here,

but you won’t sink.

The centre of your gut has tiny doors 

for all the light.
