Hello, I’m Aimee, one of the volunteers here at Product. I’m a passionate reader and writer, currently studying Creative Writing at university. I love all things fantasy and character-led pieces that explore complex relationships and emotions. One of my favourite short stories is Letter to the Editor for its simultaneously heartbreaking and heartwarming quality, all wrapped up in a fascinating and unique structure, which is both absurd and brilliant. I also enjoyed Night on the Moor for its realistic exploration of one man’s insecurities and the potential danger surrounding them. I think it portrays the internal conflict of a struggling man and his resulting actions in a manner that is so gripping that I found myself glued to the screen. I found similar affection for Sending Love to the Universe because it reminds me of the beauty of human connection and the fact that stories surround us, everywhere, if you know where to look. I am eternally grateful that writers such as these have created and continue to create such amazing stories, and I constantly look forward to what I might read next in the magazine.
