About Product Magazine

Product is an independent magazine established in 1999 to promote the work of Scottish-based writers and artists and to examine ideas dismissed or just missed by mainstream media. Product delivers compelling writing on music, film, art, politics and ideas. We publish new fiction by both established and first-time writers. We do not have corporate backers and much of our content is unacceptable to major advertisers. Thus we are free from writing dross about sofas, celebrities and pants. The magazine comes out four times a year and is available to buy in newsagents, galleries, record shops and bookshops across Europe, but the best way to get it is to subscribe.
